GAGE MISSION:

Guided by the belief that artists are made, not born, Gage strives to educate, enrich and engage artists and the community in the visual arts. Gage offers instruction in the principles of drawing, painting and sculpting and is dedicated to helping students of all ages and skill levels realize themselves as artists in contemporary society.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Sales & Marketing

  • Oversees creative & content development for marketing.
  • Paid ads oversight, scheduling & content creation plus overall management.
  • Creates targeted email, digital & sales campaigns to increase enrollment.
  • Aggregates all relevant data to help inform enrollment & create reports for senior staff.
  • Produces and edits marketing materials including but not limited to email campaigns & multi-media content.
  • Assists with graphics requests.
  • Dedicated to improving the Gage community, student experience, growth of class revenue & overall client services for marketing & community engagement.
  • Supports & works closely with Events Manager & Designers to ensure the best possible student experience & community engagement.
  • Provide or oversee graphic design services and content creation for internal, student and prospect design initiatives.
  • Responsible for metrics and reporting on sales, social media, SEO and all analytics. Ability to use Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
  • Manages ProClass Database: Oversees all program offerings into the database, organizes and upkeeps database files, ensures database works efficiently and in conjunction with Gage website to reflect the most up to date information, maintains database with only active students, donors, etc.
  • Attends and supports Gage community engagement events.
  • Helps to manage freelance graphic designers & third party vendors.
  • light video editing or management of 3rd party production vendors
  • Reviews Gage quarterly catalogs, event & marketing materials for typos, errors, etc.
  • Other duties as required and requested.

Gage 360

  • Project Manager for current & new website build including but not limited to:
    • Integration of student registration software plus other 3rd party technical & content integration on new website
    • Day to day project management of tasks & deliverables
    • Manage feedback to UI/UX
    • Integration of social media & mailchimp
    • QA & QC
    • Help manage design & aesthetic to be student friendly
    • Content creation & delivery to external vendor
    • Oversight of projects in general with Director of Global Marketing, Communications Technology & Community Engagement.
    • Communication with students, instructors & staff for content that will populate the new website
    • Oversees & manage CRM, website & enrollment client services
    • Oversees SEO and SEM of new website
  • Helps to oversees & manage CRM, website & enrollment client services
  • Knowledge of PPC, SEO and optimization.
  • Evaluate Gage multi media/technology offering and provide recommendations based on capabilities and needs in marketplace specifically around non-profit needs.
  • Account management & training for all Gage 360 initatives.
  • Technical set up & management for all digital events and online art programs.
  • Oversee media room/ Gage 360 Studio day to day needs including scheduling, community engagement and monitor & resource management.
  • Helps to create Gage 360 zoom meetings and accounts for online courses.

Social Media

  • Manages and updates relevant social media accounts.
  • Attends relevant community events to capture photos and videos and post live updates to social media channels.
  •   Proactively oversee new social media platform adoption, integration, maintenance, research, schedule, calendar and management day to day.
  • Supports ideation for social & digital media strategy, concepts and execution.
  • Provide strategy, insight and coordination for social media aesthetic, content and calendar for posting plus responses in conjunction with internal team. 

Other Responsibilities Include

  • Schedules, trains and coordinates all volunteers to include but not limited to:  Studio Monitors, organize & Maintain online Volunteer Wufoo Application form. Attends Gage events as needed for coordination and/or support from a reception perspective.
  • Works with the Registrar as needed to cover overflow of phone calls or students seeking help at the Registrar desk while the Registrar is busy with other students, covers the Registration desk for the Registrar when they are in meetings, lunch, vacations or otherwise not available.  
  • Support registrar & student services manager, as required/requested.
  • Work with student services manager to organize student evaluation forms into log to track student’s levels of satisfaction.

 The Digital Manager position reports to the Director of Global Marketing, Communications Technology & Community Engagement, and is a 40-hour a week, non-exempt position, Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00 pm and as needed for events, etc.
