Welcome to Summer 2020

This summer Gage is continuing to offer our classes and workshops for Adults, Teens, and Kids online!  In addition, we’ll be offering a wide variety of outdoor plein air classes that keep you safe and socially distant while stepping out in the beautiful PNW summer sun!

Youth Programs

Introducing a New Summer Subscription Plan for Kids 6-11!

Make art this summer! For 6-11 year olds we are offering a monthly and summer-long subscription for daily dance moves and creative projects. Start your day with 2 hours of unique structured art and movement lessons from professional teaching artists. Join us from your backyard or living room, any where with Wi-Fi and room to move.

For Middle and High school students, spend the summer learning new skills or dive deeper into your passion. Create a killer portfolio in art or animation with our 2-week drawing, painting and digital animation intensives, or try out new mediums with our 1 week classes in printmaking (yes you can do it at home!), sculpture and illustration. Spend this summer developing your passion, whether it’s making a zine or creating characters, you’ll learn from a creative, rigorous curriculum taught by professional teaching artists in daily classes and projects.

Adult Programs

Whether you’re a culturally curious newcomer or a professional artist, a working creative or a retired passion-seeker–Gage is open to anyone interested in learning. Art-makers of all ages, abilities, and circumstances immediately become part of a vibrant creative community, with access to free programs, lectures, demos, events and enrichment all year long.

Get outside this summer to make some art! From landscape to figure, from painting in oils to painting in water based gouache, there is an outdoor class for you. Join a Gage instructor at one of Seattle’s parks or outdoor spaces and get ready to take your skills to a new level!  Do you love being outdoors and creating art in nature? Then these exciting summer programs are for you!

Class sizes will be limited to ensure proper social distancing protocols.
